Rudy’s got enough bad qualities to make me not vote for him, Fred is still an unknown and he’s got the McCain-Feingold endorsement in the way. The others just don’t have enough “it” factor for me.

Oh Well, then I guess you'll simply have to vote for Hillary.

I’m surprised it didn’t start with - “When I was Mayor of New York City...”

Is the path of your disdain so broad and your understanding so incomplete that the best comment you can summon is a shallow jab at my indecision this far out in the election process?

I don’t like Ron Paul so I never read those threads.

Heh.

Rudy-haters or Fred lovers isn't why I posted Rudy's comments. I posted them because I thought they deserve a bit of consideration in light of today's abominable visit.

Maybe Rudy is just sharpening his teeth, and it's all gas-- but he's put it out there: the UN's behavior is deplorable and sad as it tries to demonize Israel and ignore death threats from Iran.

I understand. I was making joke about the Rudy haters pouncing on every Rudy thread.

For crumps sake, the man played in a skit for humor.

It wasn't just "a" skit. He's done it multiple times for multiple events. He even offered to do it for HBO gay soft porn series 'Queer as Folk'. He's a member of the Stonewall Veterans (google that one) and, as Mayor, marched in every gay pride parade in NYC. To top it off, while Mayor he lived with two "married" gay men as his roommates. There's a lot more to the issue than just a single skit played for "humor". Nothing funny about it. Giuliani has some seriously deviant character flaws.

I'm more surprised that Bush said this:

"President Bush said Ahmadinejad's appearance at Columbia "speaks volumes about really the greatness of America."

He told Fox News Channel that if Bollinger considers Ahmadinejad's visit an educational experience for Columbia students, "I guess it's OK with me." -George W. Bush 9/24/07

Not surprised. But disappointed. Again.
