Me, too! They're even more stupid than he is, which seems an impossibility!

Also, would like a photo of their proud parents.

FWIW, Shepard Smith said it in his summary of what Nutjob said, it was the first thing he mentioned..

Because that will not be the way it is played to the rest of the world or maybe even here. It will be interesting to see how the MSM plays it on the evening news and how the edits are made. I suspect we will see both excerpts of Bollinger’s remarks and Ahmadinejad’s response, including the applause. And in Iran, whatever is shown, will put Ahmadinejad in the best light.

An excerpt from that Fox news article.

In his scathing introduction to the much-anticipated on-campus event, Bollinger told the leader of Iran that he exhibits “all the signs of a petty and cruel dictator.”

Bollinger levied repeated criticisms against Ahmadinejad, calling on him to answer a series of challenges about his leadership, blasting his views about the “myth” of the Holocaust “absurd” and saying that he doubted he “will have the intellectual courage to answer these questions.”

“Mr. President, you exhibit all the signs of a petty and cruel dictator,” Bollinger said, to loud applause.

He said Ahmadinejad’s denial of the Holocaust might fool the illiterate and ignorant.

“When you come to a place like this it makes you simply ridiculous,” Bollinger said. “The truth is that the Holocaust is the most documented event in human history.”

I for one was quite impressed with Bollinger's statements. There was a lot more than just what is here. Maybe someone can find a transcript.

Thanks so much, (((SE Mom))).

Bolton knows whereof he speaks... this is so disgusting.
I really, truly abhor our universitarians and that is from knowing them up close and personal,
as I worked at a UC campus and a “junior college.”

They are too “enlightened” to consider themselves mere Americans, but instead are member of the “international community.”

Ptoooey!!!!!

OK. Now we have an answer, at least from Fox News. Ignore and gloss over...

CNN Allan Chernoff focusing on the “we have no homosexuals remark”

that is what the MSM will take away from this.

I wouldn't be surprised if the students who were booing are the conservatives in the room, and the commie liberal students just sat there, silent. Their equal hatred of Bush, the US military and Israel overrides any insult (or downright extermination) the little Hitler of Iran has against their liberal "values".

Now if that had been President Bush or Jim Gilchrist behind that stark black podium, either one would've been lucky to make it out of there alive.

didn’t the Japanese have a diplomat here on a mission during the attack at Pearl Harbor?

Yes, the infamous mission of Nomura and Kurusu. The negotiations dragged on going nowhere while the Japanese planned and trained for the attack.

They were to deliver a final message implying they were going to war but not actually declaring war just before the attack at Pearl, but no one at the embassy was cleared to decode and type it, so they did it themselves, delivering the message after the attack began. We had actually decoded the message earlier and Marshall directed a warning be cabled Short in Hawaii, but that was bungled too. If you're curious about the whole sad tale, I would recommend At Dawn We Slept, or there's a pretty good Readers Digest version in the movie Tora Tora Tora.

Everytime I see Bolton on TV I am sickened by the way he was treated. He was the right person at the right time.

It is our loss, sad some still do not see it.

On air, on every cable news channel, the first thing I heard them say about his speach was his claim Iran had no homosexuals.

Looks like the same person to me. If you could tell whether the guy in the older picture is as short as Nutjob I would have no doubt they were the same person.

Here is a website with many photos of the Revolution. You may find him in the crowds. I've seen a few individuals who look like him there. I have the other photos you're talking about, but whereas some think those are him, I have doubts.

http://www.iranian.com/Revolution/photos.html

Here is one from 1979 that I think may be him. He's a little guy and his clothes drape on him the same way they do in this photo.
