“You are terribly wrong. President Bush will not leave office before dealing the islamic terrorist regime in Iran a blow that will damage it very badly if not removing it all together.”

President Bush, by refusing to actually fight the war in Iraq, does not have the credibility, nor the support of the American people to start another war that will not be finished in this decade.

No, Iran, Saudi Arabia, Syria, and who knows who else now have nukes courtesy of N. Korea and Pakistan.

Our president will do nothing. It’s all he is able to do.

Looks like the libs shouldn’t have made so much fun of Bush for using that term “axis of evil”.

Of course, libs being libs - they’ll just say that he put the idea into their heads.

Neighborhood Bully ~ Bob Dylan

Well, the neighborhood bully, he’s just one man,
His enemies say he’s on their land.
They got him outnumbered about a million to one,
He got no place to escape to, no place to run.
He’s the neighborhood bully.

The neighborhood bully just lives to survive,
He’s criticized and condemned for being alive.
He’s not supposed to fight back, he’s supposed to have thick skin,
He’s supposed to lay down and die when his door is kicked in.
He’s the neighborhood bully.

The neighborhood bully been driven out of every land,
He’s wandered the earth an exiled man.
Seen his family scattered, his people hounded and torn,
He’s always on trial for just being born.
He’s the neighborhood bully.

Well, he knocked out a lynch mob, he was criticized,
Old women condemned him, said he should apologize.
Then he destroyed a bomb factory, nobody was glad.
The bombs were meant for him.
He was supposed to feel bad.
He’s the neighborhood bully.

Well, the chances are against it and the odds are slim
That he’ll live by the rules that the world makes for him,
‘Cause there’s a noose at his neck and a gun at his back
And a license to kill him is given out to every maniac.
He’s the neighborhood bully.

He got no allies to really speak of.
What he gets he must pay for, he don’t get it out of love.
He buys obsolete weapons and he won’t be denied
But no one sends flesh and blood to fight by his side.
He’s the neighborhood bully.

Well, he’s surrounded by pacifists who all want peace,
They pray for it nightly that the bloodshed must cease.
Now, they wouldn’t hurt a fly.
To hurt one they would weep.
They lay and they wait for this bully to fall asleep.
He’s the neighborhood bully.

Every empire that’s enslaved him is gone,
Egypt and Rome, even the great Babylon.
He’s made a garden of paradise in the desert sand,
In bed with nobody, under no one’s command.
He’s the neighborhood bully.

Now his holiest books have been trampled upon,
No contract he signed was worth what it was written on.
He took the crumbs of the world and he turned it into wealth,
Took sickness and disease and he turned it into health.
He’s the neighborhood bully.

What’s anybody indebted to him for?
Nothin’, they say.
He just likes to cause war.
Pride and prejudice and superstition indeed,
They wait for this bully like a dog waits to feed.
He’s the neighborhood bully.

What has he done to wear so many scars?
Does he change the course of rivers?
Does he pollute the moon and stars?
Neighborhood bully, standing on the hill,
Running out the clock, time standing still,
Neighborhood bully.

And yet Bush claims that the DPRK have agreed to eliminate their nukes. What a joke of a President.

Well. . . maybe they eliminated their nukes by selling 'em to the Syrians.

Yes, but things are always interesting in the middle east. Too many sexually-frustrated nut cases.

You got that right. If someone would invent a see-through burka, we'd be on the road to world peace.

“Now that is interesting. They can determine where it came from.”

Nuclear material from different reactors can be matched. I read once that it was like DNA and the site of it’s production can be accurately determined.

That is hilarious. I wish President Bush and Israel will do something in the next 9 months about the axis of evil regimes Iran, Syria and DPRK.

If not for President Bush we would have surrendered to the terrorists long time ago. It is him and our brave troops who are making us win this war as we are seeing lately.

A three weeks air war against the terrorist regime in Iran does not require support of the American people or Congress. In fact Congress passed a law earlier this year authorizing the President to strike Iran militarily for 60 days before coming back to them.

JIm, I got a feeling things are about to get very interesting in the middle east.

Hal Lindsey on the destruction of Syria by Israel

Damascus is the oldest continually inhabited city on earth. Although conquered many times, its status as an economic and cultural center of antiquity preserved it intact to this day.

But Isaiah predicted Damascus would one day face utter destruction: "Behold, Damascus is about to be removed from being a city and it will become a fallen ruin," he writes in Isaiah 17:1.

The prophet also predicts Damascus' destruction will come at a time when "the glory of Jacob" had begun to fade (verse 4), at a time when Israel is in great peril of being "shaken like an olive tree," leaving only a few "on the topmost bough."

Isaiah prophesies that, when Damascus' destruction comes, there will be "an uproar of many peoples" and "the rumbling of nations" but that they will flee at God's rebuke.

It seems clear from recent events that Syria is preparing chemical and biological weapons, and possibly some form of nuclear weapon for use in some future war against Israel. Syria and Iran have been outfitting Hezbollah with the latest in offensive weaponry since the war of June 2006.

Israel is unlikely to sit back and wait for a first-use chemical or gas attack from Damascus. Neither is it likely to wait until Ahmadinejad can use Syria to flank them in the event of conflict with Iran. So the number of Israeli raids against Syrian targets is likely to escalate until either Israel has destroyed the threat or Syria responds militarily. If Syria attacks with weapons of mass destruction, it can expect a massive, in-kind Israeli response.

Bible prophecy doesn't make allowances for a full-scale unconventional war of annihilation of Israel by Iran, however. Ezekiel predicts Iran's participation of the Gog-Magog invasion as part of a Russian-led alliance, not a regional alliance with Syria. Both Iran and Israel are listed as participants in that future conflict.

But Syria isn't.

Syria isn't numbered among any of the various protagonists prophesied to participate in the conflicts of the last days.

Isaiah describes the destruction of Damascus in much the same terms that would be used today to describe the effects of all-out, no-holds-barred Israeli retaliatory strike against a Syrian gas attack.

"At evening time, behold, there is terror! Before morning, they are no more" (Isaiah 17:13-14).

These events in Syria are going to be the "lead-up" to the destruction of Syria by Israel, as the Bible has told us. Look for this to come about directly...

Star Traveler

“GEE, MAYBE IT WAS GOOD WE GOT RID OF sADDAM”

Well, which is better, a secular dictator, or an islamic fundamentalist state? Iraq is going to be an islamic state. We’ve seen to that. Not the best value for our Trillion dollars, I’d think.

Now if we had Saddam, or some other dictator to do our bidding, I’d be much happier. The Iraqi’s aren’t worth what it will take to actually make them a lasting democracy, and we don’t have what it takes to actually make it happen. So we burn money and pretend we are making a difference until we leave.

If they did actually find fissile material(it’s not entirely clear but seems likely from the article and the bold action taken) I wonder if it was plutonium or enriched uranium. Or maybe it was something other(trigger related). I know we probably got a signature from the air samples after the NK nuke detonation but I don’t recall how we found out about NK’s HEU program and if we would(likely) have samples from that program.

Israel will flatten Iran when they feel the need to.

Sadly, Israel alone doesn't have the capability to take out Iran's program. The Syrians apparently made the Iraqi mistake of concentrating their program in one location. . . the Iranians purportedly have dozens of sites buried deep underground throughout Iran. Israel's pilots are (no offense to the USAF) probably the best in the world. But its air force is a fraction of the size of the US's. Israel doesn't have the planes needed to take out dozens of sites simultaneously a thousand miles away.

Let’s just obliterate Syria and N. Korea and call it a night.

Israel will be the one to take care of Syria for us. That's something that we can definitely expect, coming down the pike fairly soon...

“I have a hunch ....there was a NEST team with the Israelis.”

Yeah they probably have the fingerprints of every reactor in the world that makes or processes nuclear fuel.
