Sounds good to me. Abuse of daughters must not be tolerated.
I'll admit, he could have done the deed more discreetly. I still hope he gets off.
(And, in case you're concerned, if I was the boy's father, the beating he had received would have been followed by a major grounding. Oh, and I'd make him work to pay off his medical bills. I wouldn't ask the father to pay them.)
Oh, I’d deal with her as well. Perhaps chaining her to a heavy object in the house would work?
There already are.
Your definition of a "child" is a seventeen yo(almost 18)that has had sex with the man's 15 yo daughter? Act like a man, get treated like one. Father deserves a medal. The 17 yo male is NOT a child.
This isn't about a father beating his son or daughter. You are setting up a straw man. I doubt very seriously if this father will beat his daughter. My father-in- law did just what this father did, beat the crap out of a man that had sex with his 16 yo daughter, he never touched his daughter, the man was the one he was pissed at. Keep flailing your tongue you might hit on something that makes sense eventually.
No straw man here. I believe I've made perfect sense. Here's a recap.
1. The 17 year old minor male broke the law against statutory rape. He should be punished by the legal system and corrected by his parents.
2. The dad went to the school and committed battery against a minor in front of other minors. He should be punished by the legal system.
3. The 15 year old minor female made some seriously bad choices. She should be corrected by her parents.
4. The only person in this scenario past the age of majority was the father. Although his anger and frustration were completely understandable, his actions were inappropriate under the law. He is supposed to show restraint... the very thing those young people did not exercise. He is supposed to show respect for the law... something the young man did not exhibit.
5. If a citizen in this country doesn't like a law or the way a law is enforced, he is supposed to work within the system to change it... not take matters into his own hands. That way lies anarchy.
“And if the boy had been fifteen and the girl seventeen, your opinion would be the same? A sexual assault on the underage boy?”
Do you not understand what “the law” means? Is representative government something so difficult to understand?
If that’s the way the law reads, then yes...its a sexual assault.
Perish the thought! Why, if Bubba can't do the sheep and the goat, the theocrats will have taken over!
