>> That you didn’t ping me to when I was the one asking the question.

A minor oversight, for which I offer my most sincere apologies.

>> We get into some trash talk and manage not to get snarky. It can be done. :-)

Not if you’re always this sensitive. You read “snark” where none was intended.

That must have been pretty cool. My bother and I lived in Dallas at the time, and I think that was only second best to being at the game. I railed on those bandwagon fans (most Cowboy fans are) for the next two years I was in that godforsaken town. Didn’t matter what the record of the teams were, it was always great just being able to say “scoreboard”.

Actually, my brother and I have season tickets too. We are in section 613 row K. So I think were are pretty close to each other. Every home Sunday we are in the Yellow lot tailgating as soon as the gates open. I’ll come by for a beer, you come by for some dove, brauts, and an assortment of foods (we also have a lot of beer).

Forget the players. Kubiak versus Shanahan. It's gonna be a wild one. Even Shanahan admits the pupil has excelled to the level of the master. I still have to support my Broncos, but I'm not betting they can beat Gary at home.

That is going to be a good game. I'll be watching it even though I'll have to get up in the wee hours to do so.

I was thrilled when I found out we were getting Kubiak in early 2006. He sure made the Broncos a strong team. He was pretty much legendary.

Enjoy the game and I hope you get perfect fall football weather. Have a cold one for me. ;-)

All I know is it is going to be a great game, my bro and I have it as a win for the Texans but it is going to be a tough game.

They can and will...AND I'll take the Broncs and the spread for at least $20

Cool! I'll be home on leave for the Jaguars game on December 30. We usually party in the Blue Lot, but are flexible. We park in the Purple Lot.

Sounds like your seats are pretty close to mine. We may have already seen each other.

Small world!

Dang....if I were going to be home for that game, I just might take some of that action. ;-)

I said at the time losing Gary was the biggest off-season loss for the Broncos that year. I still stand by that. I love seeing him get his chance to prove his worth in Houston, but I miss his talent in Denver. As good as they say Cutler will be, can you imagine his progress with Gary as the QB coach?

Here, here!! That yelling you’ll hear from the West on Sunday will be my daughter and me, cheering on our Broncos!

I hear the Broncos are inducting TD into the Ring of Fame this Sunday. If you get a chance next week, I’d love to have a first-hand account of the ceremony from somebody who was there. I miss watching TD play. He was one of the greats and gone way too early.

This is our first year doing the season ticket thing and it has been great. We have about 10 friends who have seats one section over from us that we tailgate with. There seats are like 1-5 (on two rows) of section 614 and are seats are at the end of 613, and we are two rows apart. Listen for us yelling “Cheaters, Cheaters” every time the opposing team gets a flag. Our goal is to have the the 2 sections doing it by the end of the year.

A minor oversight, for which I offer my most sincere apologies.

I appreciate that and respect it.

Not if you’re always this sensitive.

Well, all righty, then. There are plenty of people for both of us to trash-talk with on here. We don't have to interact with each other if that's your pleasure. See? I'm actually rather easy-going.

P.S. I'm not a "Dude." Just FYI.

Go on you two......I’ll try and remember to give you a blow by blow, and I agree. TD was awesome.

I was at every game the first two seasons. Since then, I can only get to one or two a year. A friend of mine who takes care of my mail and stuff is using my tickets. Feel free to freak him out and stop down at Secion 530, Row J (I misspoke earlier; they're in the third row), the two seats on the right aisle (danged if I can remember the numbers...25 and 26, I think) and say "Allegra says 'hello' and hopes you're enjoying her seats." LOL

When I get home for good, I'll go back to going to every game -probably starting in the '08 season.

That’s unnecessary. I’m good to go if you are.

>> P.S. I’m not a “Dude.” Just FYI.

That was not intended as a gender-specific title ... though, I’ll admit, in football conversations, I generally assume I’m conversing with a male ... but that’s less about sexism, and more about playing the odds.

I can substitute Dudette if you’d prefer. :)

Cool, I might just do that. First round of drinks are on me once your back for good. Around that time we can be toasting the Texans first time in which they clinched a playoff spot.

Stay safe in Iraq.

That'll work. I work with a guy who calls everybody "Gomer." Except me....he calls me "Gomette." LOL

Oh....and he's a die-hard Cowboys fan.

YIKES! At seven bucks a pop? Or have they gone up this season? Hey, I buy 'em anyway. LOL
