whatever you call them, I’m done voting for this lot. I remember Bush’s first election. I voted for him because he fed the line that he would bring all the troops home from overseas and stop the “world cop” role. The politicians from both parties promise things they know they can’t deliver because they propose and congress disposes, and they harbor hidden agendas so that we never really know what they are going to do. It’s pretty obvious to me that “we the people” have become “we the shills”. Our votes get them elected but we have no ownership or control over the ultimate outcome. It truly makes me wonder who is really pulling the strings of these puppets and what ideological school of thought they are really following.

Actually you would be surprised how much influence you can have if you get involved. The distance from political volunteer to active influence is not that far. Grass roots activism does make a difference. The problem is people are either lazy, or unaware of the power that they have. Saul Alinsky made people participate. We need to do the same. We too often succumb to the propaganda that both parties are the same and we have no say. That is not true. People make a difference all the time. The most disillusioned sounding people I talk to have never tried to make a difference. They never got involved. They just complain. Join a conservative group like the NFRA that holds RINO feet to the fire. Write letters. Organize your friends. Heck, go out and picket the left! Remember what is to be American. It’s obvious who the enemy is. We can hurt them badly without being them. That’s why they spend so much money and time trying to convince us we are powerless and irrelevant.

Join a conservative group like the NFRA (http://www.gopwing.com/)that holds RINO feet to the fire or Vanguard (http://www.thevanguard.org/) that goes after MoveOn for their vile propaganda. Write letters. Organize your friends. Heck, go out and picket the left! Start your own organization. Remember what is to be American. We never, ever lie down without a fight. It’s obvious who the enemy is. We can hurt them badly without being them. That’s why they spend so much money and time trying to convince us we are powerless and irrelevant. The left wants you to just sit around and whine and the press helps by feeding you negative after negative. If you are disillusioned you don’t vote! Think 2006. It’s a tactic. It’s just a variation of Alinsky power politics, instead of empowering us they dis-empower us with our own human weakness. Don’t listen to the propaganda. If we each spent just a little time and money, just put out some effort we could crush them.
