WEIRD. I'm speechless...
To: DogByte6RER
Does she do a duet with Barry Manilow by any chance?

"It's the good, the bad and the ugly," Reno said. Speak for yourself.

I wonder if “Waco Bonfire” made the cut.

Unless it has her rendition of Shatner’s rendition of Rocketman, I don’t want it.

Weird is the word.
"To omit Dixie or the Streets of Philadelphia is to omit a part of what has made America."
Did she say "Streets of Philadelphia"? Isn't that a throwaway Bruce Springsteen song from the '90s? On an "album of historical songs"? Well then, why not "Smells Like Teen Spirit"?

Or, “The Ballad of Elian”

When I first saw the title I thought she was singing on the CD.
I’m glad she’s just the producer because I fear her singing voice would probably be reminiscent of Yoko Ono.

what about “ Burning Down the House”?

Golly! I'll stay up late just to watch the ads for it on TV!!
"Inferno Records Proudly Presents: Miss Janet Reno - Songs of the Clinton Years"
To: Shqipo
I do hope she also got Sheets Byrd on the fiddle, and Clinton on sax.

"I Shot Burnt the Sheriff Cultist"

And here I’ve been wanting a Burl Ives Songbook like we had back in the ‘50s.

Actually, I went to the Amazon site and read about the CD set. It sounds quite interesting. A good idea is a good idea, even if it did come from Janet Reno. Go read up on this on Amazon. Click on the link above. You will be surprised.

Reno said it all began when she heard her niece's musician husband, Ed Pettersen, play two
history-inspired songs he had written.
"I couldn't figure out what it was about."
LOL!

I watched "Waco in the line of fire" again last night. JR needs to be sharing a cell with OJ, and Charlie!
