What the Hell does Newt think Ron Paul is doing? Ron Paul is the ONLY GOP candidate that is offering pure, 100% traditional conservatism and an end to the quasi-socialist status quo that threatens to turn this nation into a 3rd world basket case. He has total grassroots support and is drawing in voters from all over the political spectrum. Nearly half of Americans polled (many times) have consistently said that they won't vote for her under any circumstances. How does she win with one of the largest negative ratings for a non-incumbent in recent history?

I’m starting to agree with Newt, I don’t think its likely we will win in 2008. The electoral votes just don’t add up.. I think my guy Romney has the best chance by winning in the midwest and carrying the south, maybe breaking into some liberal strongholds like new england. But by appealing to such differing constituencies he has to be on all sides of a couple major issues.

I’m nearly looking to 2012, and hoping Petraeus will run.
