So instead of the Tapping Crapper, we can just call him Loophole Larry? Regardless of whether he was travelling to/from his senate business, he was trolling, plain and simple.

Has he thought the possible consequences of this action any more thoroughly than his original act and plea?

I doubt it.

If he is successful in overturning the guilty plea is he prepared to face prosecution and to defend himself against all of the original charges in open court?

At the least that will ensure that the few people who haven’t already heard of his homosexual trolling will get all of the details in the morning paper and the evening news for many weeks as the trial runs its course.
