I think the Democratic National Convention could end up pitting the forces of Senator Hillary Clinton (aka the US Northeast faction) versus the forces of Senator Barack Obama (the US Midwest faction). Obama has the backing of one Oprah Winfrey and very likely the Daley machine in Chicago, which means Obama could command a lot of votes in the US Midwest.

In short, we could end up with a major factional fight at the convention itself.

I think most in the US want us to win. During Viet Nam, many did not make the connection to our security or it seemed not to be an immediate threat. Now it's different.

These peaceniks or just Bush-haters are fighting a losing battle here and in the past would be shunned or tried as traitors.

The dems have the quandry. They spent a lot of time railing against the war (Bush) and now that the big election is coming they realize they invested in defeat. They have a real delimma, but they have 14 months to roll over and play patriot.

We do know that Lerner did attend the Jewish Theological Seminary (JTS) in New York City, so it's very likely he did get ordained as a rabbi. However, you REALLY have to wonder how did Lerner get into Leftist politics, which frequently clashes with real Jewish beliefs.

If they were really interested in peace they’d stop encouraging the terrorists by promising them a US surrender.

Guess the psycho libs don't understand that the War on Terror is a tad more complicated than making a sign, marching around, and flapping their gums.
The 60s have been over for 3 and 1/2 decades.
Time for these has-been hippies and their spawn to grow up.

How many times do the Democrats have to tell these idiots that ending the War on Terror immediately isn't going to happen.

Another thing... what's the activist's first clue that Democrats are notorious liars about everything. Why should this situation be any different?

Can almost hear the lib leaders saying, "Why did they (the activists) believe us?"

Can't be a comfortable feeling for Pelosi to have Code Pink wearing out the sidewalk in front of her home in San Francisco!!

I’ll actually watch the Rat convention if it’s a repeat of what happened in Chicago.

Chris Shields said bring our troops home to their families in a safe and orderly manner and to hell with the innocent civilians who supported a democratic form of government. While Woolsey advises the activists: Help people change the conversation from ‘abandoning the troops’ to funding orderly redeployment. The democrats are all about talking points, but the essence of their meaning is still the same. We tried caring about the Bosnians and the genocide in Darfur and Rwanda, and look what it got us, less money for research on HIV and handouts to our constituents.

Right you are.

Heck they are more than just Fascist Enablers; they are enablers of all kinds of people.

They enable criminals, the poor, drug addicts etc...

The enabler always expects payment from their constituency.
