They wanted to get arrested. Like the Pharisees who pushed their way to the front of the Temple to make a display of their worship, Kokesh and Richards need to be seen "doing good". However, Kokesh, in his own writings, notes that it was seeing a little old lady get arrested and realized it was only a fine and an hour or so in booking. Get your props with the hippies on the cheap.

Well, that's a good start.

Notice how the "leaders" never get arrested. The two communist Becker brothers (Brian and Richard) are too important to "the people's struggle" to get arrested. Or so they think.

So, while the communists' useful idiots cool their heels in jail, the Becker brothers and Mara VerHeyden-Hilliard and Carl Messineo have dinner at The Caucus Room.

5. If there was a fifth person there, it was probably Mara VerHeyden-Hilliard.
