I think the war rhetoric with Iran has been increasing. I think I can see Bush dropping some bombs on Iran before he leaves office.

Bush should hit them but he can’t in an election year. I wouldn’t mind seeing a Gingrich suggested blowing up of their only gasoline refinery but would have to be part of a total operation to undermine their fascist regime. Not likely while we are in Iraq.

According to PAt, it is part of the Bush war plan. First Afghanistan, then Iraq, and then we bomb Amadjihad. I heard talking heads this weekend say that they think with a little B52 persuasion, the people of Iran will rise up. Who knows, but maybe if we knock the head off, the people will rise up?

Heard some talking head this weekend speak about 1200 plus targets in three days. Some plan we put together for Iran. I don’t think we can sit by and let them undermine our efforts in Iraq.

Something has to be done and Bush is probably not afraid to do so (given the proper political environment).

At the SOTU in Jan 02' W laid out the axis of evil. Iran was a compenent. Nothing has changed. I don't understand why Pat and others think this is some new sneaky plan.

Maybe so, but I didnt read it like that. I saw it as ratcheting up the war rhetoric on Iran. He gives plenty of reason why Bush should bomb Amadjihad.
