Isn't this a form of extortion? And the NAACP? They are siding with The Race? Doesn't the NAACP have an interest in seeing that our laws are enforced?

How much you wanna bet
La Raza and the NAACP never had any intention to have conventions in Kansas City.
These people are a joke. If appointing one Park Commissioner is all it takes to keep them from coming to my town, I have to write my City Councilmen with some suggested appointments.

La Raza can pull out of the United States, as far as I’m concerned. Don’t let the door hit you in the butt.

In a word, no.

The nation's largest Hispanic civil rights organization is warning it may move its 2009 convention from Kansas City because of a controversial city park board member.Dang. Well, hasta la vista.

Email your support to the mayor at mayor@kcmo.org
I suugest you make your point on the subject line as he probably doesn't have the time/staff to read the details.

Losing two national conventions could hurt the city's image and cost the local economy about $15 million, city officials said.
Milwaukee has recently hosted both of these conventions and both were generally seen as a bust from an economic standpoint. Not anywhere near the number of rooms booked as were promised and they actually have their own food court type thing setup so people don't go out to nearby restaurants.

“The National Council of La Raza is already looking at other cities
after the appointment of Frances Semler,”
Part of me hopes La Raza bails.
And shows the power of ONE person that wants to defend the USA from
an invasion of illegals.
Part of me hopes that La Raza stays the course.
And plenty of their supporters show up and act up all they want to.
So they can be shocked when they get picked up for bad driving or
disobey disperal orders...and find out that cops are going to check and
act on their immigration status (due to a recent state-wide order
from Missouri Gov. Blunt).

Thank God that they are thinking of not coming to MY city. I hope this lady stands her ground and the new mayor continues to back her to the fullest.
As far as I’m concerned, this city does not need these brown racists at all. They can go Mexico or to hell, whichever is closer.

I wonder what “race” this group thinks it is.
(I mean, my high school biology book said my race is human.)

With La Raza? and other liberal-agenda groups?
Nah. This is just business as usual.
