There are two sad observations one can take from this.
The first observation is that twenty-nine years and law school is not enough to cause one to think critically nor does it make them less gullible.
The second observation is that prices that end in $0.99 or $0.95 are almost always a marketing ploy and not based on calculations of actual cost.
Since the average human being generates about two pounds of Carbon Dioxide per day by breathing, the best way to become “Carbon Neutral” is to stop breathing.
And check out the logo with the cows.
BTW, this indulgence deals with CH4 (methane), not carbon.
"Show me just what Mohammed brought that was new, and there you will find things only evil and inhuman, such as his command to spread by the sword the faith he preached." - Manuel II Palelologus
I wonder if anyone would have a problem with someone selling indulgences that promise to not drink beer and not eat beans and sauerkraut once a week.
These would be just as valid, IMHO.
Ah, but you see, there are so many of us and so very few of them, and we’re in the wrong and they’re in the right, and that makes it all okay.
Just think of the value of having a list of these ignorant folks who would buy into such BS.
Selling a list of their names to every conman, bunco artist, San Francisco bridge seller, etc., could bring in some significant income for a motivated data collector.
