There is also nothing in the packet about intelligence, thus these Paulbearers were at a distinct disadvantage. ;)
Now you are just being rude.
No not trying to be rude at all sorry you took it that way. All I saw was what appears to be some lying for what reason I have no idea yet felt the liar should be exposed as that is the moral thing to do. Sad you cannot see it that way, one can only assume you dislike Ron Paul for your own reason which is fine. I said from the get go I was not a fan of his anyhow. However I dislike it when people tell others lies that is how false rumors get started.
Guliani, Thompson, Romney, etc. are imperfect. Hell, only Newt really fills all my criteria for a perfect candidate, and he ain’t running.
But ANY ONE OF THEM is worlds apart from Hillary.
-None would socialize our medical system;
-None would eviscerate our military;
-None would appoint judges anywhere near as execrable as the ones Hillary would appoint;
-None would cave to the Global Warming hysterics by signing a Kyoto accord or anything similar;
-None are captives of labor unions (though I note with some alarm that Mike Huckabee DID get a union endorsement - from the Machinists Union I believe);
-None would sign a “Fairness Doctrine” bill;
-None would surrender in Iraq;
-None would wage war on the 2nd Amendment;
-None are house boys for the NEA;
I could go on and on. The point is clear. There is a HUGE different even between whichever of the GOP candidates you find most objectionable and Hillary Clinton.
There’s a time to emphasize our differences. And, indeed, that is now, during primary season. But there’s also a need to keep in mind the need to defeat the real enemy in the end: the left wing fascists of the modern Democrat party.

Ouch, that will leave a mark...
or another one I should say...
ewww...
A Democrat in Republican clothing.
Your vitriolic accusations say far more about you than they do me.
I’m not any kind of conspiracy theorist, and as always, I will use the primary process to advocate for and try elect the candidate closest to whom I believe is the best balance between most able to advance our conservative ideals and who can beat the Democrats in the general election.
Then, when the general election is in full force, I will work to elect our nominee.
They taught us in campaign school that all or nothing always gets you nothing. I am actually involved in campaigns and the freedom movement (PAC’s, GOP outreach groups, etc) because, you see, I actually am a REPUBLICAN. (duhh... do you actually have a point here or are you just being dull and boorish?)
Check your facts. Mitt Romney already socialized the healthcare system in Massachusetts. Can the rest of the US be far behind if he’s CIC?
I’d refute the rest of your points but doing so would be a waste of my time.
The bottom line is, nobody is falling into your trap. Ron Paul isn’t going to run on a 3rd party line, he’s already said so himself. A certain number of people always support the Constitution or Libertarian parties anyways, I seriously doubt that outrage if Ron Paul doesn’t get the nomination will lead to throwing the election for Hillary.
But hey, you could sit on your duff and do nothing while the GOP continues to foist RINOS on us for elections to all levels of government and then wonder why people are embarrassed to be Republicans and we lose the farm like in November 2006.
by the way, welcome aboard to Free Republic!
In the material sent months ahead of time, it made it very clear that you must be registered BEFORE 10:00am to be there to vote.
I Understand where you are coming from however the screen shot of the letter I posted in 46 was not that clear at all. Many are claiming the very same as you however no one is willing to pony up a photocopy of a letter that clearly stats this was the case.
What I would like to know is why if this took place didn’t the group take it to the media they love stories like this and would leap on it unless of course it was all a lie which I suspect it is.
Common sense would tell you alone to use the front door of the hall and not the side entrance. Now why use the side entrance if you were being turned away? If it were me I would get to the front door where I could get as much attention as possible but again that was not done here which is an indicator someone is lying
Well, here we go again.
Then I learned that I wasnt eligible because I was never a delegate to anything.

This fact of what qualified someone to cast a ballot makes the number of votes cast much more relevant. Last week, when I saw the totals, I was imagining that only about a 1000 or so Texas Republicans even cared about their straw poll.
Knowing that it was a survey of Texas activists puts a much different emphasis on the participation.
Paul supporters obviously have not been active in Republican politics in the past.
I think being turned away for lack of “proper attire” is a lie.
What really happened:
The Paulistas are too ashamed to say they were advised to bathe on a regular basis.
Thanks! But you’re a few years late. ;-)
