Well done, Lebanon. Good job and Thanks for Standing Tall and doing what needed to be done to work toward reclaiming your country from foreign invaders and malcontents.

This comes as something of a surprise. Not only does Lebanon now have a military, but they have some capability.

Yup. They paid a heck of a price, but their determination to complete the mission is very admirable.

They should just go ahead the level the entire place, then tell the next bunch: this is what will happen to you. Thank God Lebanon has enough backbone left to stand up to this kind of outrage, despite all it has been through.

Good on them!
This is a people that is tired of being a pawn in others’ wars and jihads. They are throwing their own bodies in the way of the murdering henchmen that thrive in the ME.
About time.
I’m wondering if we are supporting them in some way?

That area is a beautiful location too, what a shame.
Now, it’s rubble and should just be leveled and rebuilt, not so sure it should be a “refugee camp” either, .
Also, we need to remember it was world opinion and UN dictates that caused areas like this to exist in the first place and to eventually serve as incubators for ‘militants’ while potentates in the area got fatter..

If it is a beautiful location, how about the government investing some bucks to make it into a resort and spa for all members of the Lebanese army, with the grunts having first dibs? They liberated it, they should get to enjoy it.

Unfortunately, I don't have the link, but I read sometime back in July that the US sent armament convoys to the Lebanese. Rooting out jihadis tends to use up ammo...

The only time I like Hezbollah is when they’re killing al Qaeda, and vice versa.
