Yes, that’s probably all true. It’s been quite a few years since I read about her but I believe her degrees are in psychology or sociology. Of course she wouldn’t be able to put that to use on the outside, I don’t believe.
It’s also possible that her family has some kind of estate or trust for her, her dad was a successful engineer. But like you say she’s better off right where she is.
Why is everyone jumping to the conclusion that I want her to be let out??
My point was that her denial this year is greater than it was last year. And since she's been a 'model' prisoner, I was curious as to what made the Board of Parole Hearings increase her denial.
Yes, I believe he is.
Saw him on a local news blurb about 2 mos ago. Seems like the reporter stated that he was kept in solitary.
Oh, horsehillery. Still, that doesn't mean she should be let out.
They all should fried 35 years ago. An activist liberal court overturned their death sentences back in the 70s. They should be glad they are alive and STFU.
Because they can. (Be happy for one of the few processes of common sense that remain in California; arbitrary and capricious denial of parole.)
Who is Mason? What did Mason have to do with the Manson case?
Free Sirhan Sirhan!
Nowadays, when I think of Manson and his followers, I think of Mohammad and the first degenerates to follow him. There isn’t two spits bit of difference between them. Thank goodness we live in a day and age where Charlie and his fellow kooks are in jail and not conquering the world with a sadistic religion.
Sorry, meant Manson.
No worries, I was cracking wise. Long day. Have a great weekend.
For the record, me too.
38 years living on the taxpayers’ dough ...
I think the whole Manson clan should have been fried years ago. But since the system won't let them fry, the system will just 'postpone' their parole until 2090. Fine.....whatever works.
By the way, folks, Patricia Krenwinkel, fellow Manson scum, will be having her hearing any day now. Don't worry - they'll 'deny' her too.
I’m just curious, L, have you ever typed a hearing on Van Houten? If so do you know if she has any living relatives?
Agree on the frying part; I don’t think any of them will see the outside unless some wacko Governor pardons them down the road.
He has two chances for parole: slim and fat.
I don’t see how model behavior in prison mitigates the crime of *murder*. She’s not there to be rehabilitated. She’s there to be punished.
Just punch into google,Justice for Daniel Faulkner!
