Although she is determined to stay in this country, she never in all these years learned to speak English. According to Mexican law, her son Saul (assuming it is her son) is a Mexican citizen. While Mexico howls and whines about her being deported, the Mexican laws are much stricter about illegal aliens. Mexico is anxious to get rid of her and the many deviants and criminals and have us take care of them.

I completely overlooked the possibility of this criminal taking her child to Mexico. Could she have done so without a passport for him? I dont know. And its takes time and money to get one.The kid did go to Mexico when she was recently deported and living in Tijuana. As an American, he doesn't need a passport to travel in US/Mexico border regions or the Baja peninsula. Furthermore, he's also a Mexican by birth, since his mother is a Mexican. So really he doesn't need a passport at all in order to travel to Mexico.

But, given the evidence in post 60, she apparently speaks French.

Ambassador???? The nitwit Calderon has absolutely no respect for the laws of America. Elvira committed document fraud and other offenses in addition to her continued border-hopping.
Will anyone in our government have the guts to say NO, or will the USA again be forced to bow to Mexico?

Better idea . . .just have the kid returned to the Mom in Mexico. Mom and son reunited, as it should be. Mom lives in country of citizenship, as it should be.
Everyone’s happy, si?

Children of Mexican citizens have automatic Mexican citizenship.
I believe he could have gone with her quite easily.

I have questions: Is Saul her son?
Was he conceived in Mexico?
Where was Saul born?
Who is the father (birth certificate should reveal that?
Who are Elvira's handlers other than the radical activist Rev. Walter Coleman? He must be tickled to finally get all this attention.
Will the Adalberto United Methodist Church be sanctioned for harboring a criminal?
Will any sanctions be taken against Coleman?
To: Jane Austen
Elvira says Saul is her son, and she says he was born in America, but I've never read anything about who the father might be. I think her other children are in Mexico.
I think she's a "test case" for the illegal immigration lobby to play on the sympathy of America.
Nothing will be done about churches harboring illegals. Many Catholic churches are offering sanctuary. None of them have any respect for our laws, and we have a president, congress, state officials and local officials who won't enforce those laws.

The word of a disreputable woman such as Elivra is not enough. I would like to see proof that Saul is her son and was born here before I believe it.
Unfortunate that some churches are preaching breaking of laws.
