I’ll probably turn in early meself....I went to bed early...sleeping conditions perfect...my phone woke me up at 3am with a low battery alarm...and of course I couldn’t get back to sleep after that.

Needless to say, I’m kind of dragging today.

Part of the reason mine is on vibrate except when on the charger.

No more getting woken up in the UK at 3 AM by a stateside colleague wanting to talk.

One of the advantages of operating silently is that one can avoid detection by intrusive authorities, or noisy Japanese fishermen.

My characters used it to operate a black market in technology and tax-exempt commerce.

Took me a second to realize you weren't talking about cell phones!

I've never had a noisy Japanese fisherman bother me because I forgot to turn my phone to vibrate...

I forgot to charge it....

The problem is my new phone is only supposed to be charged when it’s off, and I don’t like to have my phone off when I’m away from the shop, as that’s the first number the security company will call if the shop alarm goes off.

So I have to remember to turn it off and charge it, for short periods when I’m home. The good thing is that it charges quickly.

I don’t know if the low battery alarm will sound if the phone’s on vibrate...

But I’m sure your submawhale has a sonar-proof stealth coating...

Wow -- that sounds like a step backwards! What phone is that? I think I'll stick with one that needs to be recharged every two to three days (at home I am a LONG way from two nearest towers -- my old phones wouldn't even work indoors) but can charge while on.

It’s an LG by Qualcomm.

My inlaws got the same phones, and my Father in law, whose a tech geek, told me that. I couldn’t find it in the manual, but for now I’ll take his word for it—the phone’s gotta last 2 years.

Hm. Not familiar with it. But I haven’t had a problem with cellphone longevity. The Mot V300 I have now is (OMG!) 3-1/2 years old!

This is a strictly mathematical viewpoint...it goes like this:

What Makes 100%? What does it mean to give MORE than 100%? Ever wonder about those people who say they are giving more than 100%? We have all been to those meetings where someone wants you to give over 100%. How about achieving 103%? What makes up 100% in life?

Here’s a little mathematical formula that might help you answer these questions:

Then:

H-A-R-D-W-O-R-K

But ,

A-T-T-I-T-U-D-E

AND, look how far ass kissing will take you.

So, one can conclude with mathematical certainty that While Hard work and Knowledge will get you close, and Attitude will get you there, it’s the Bullshit and Ass kissing that will put you over the top.
