FL is smarter than the DNC here — by the time of the conventions, delegates won’t matter at all. It is the early momentum that counts so that the sheeple can know whom to support.

“I thought the superdelegates in the democRat party overrode the voters’ delegates anyway. Am I misinformed about how the delegate process works in the democRat party?”
Do you mean they make up the rules as they go along?

Should I care? Im trying to figure out why this means squat.
It means one or two things. It may mean that Obama has a serious chance to beat Hitlery in Florida, perhaps his only chance to gain any momentum against her. More likely, it means that they are disenfranchising their own primary voters just to make them mad so they'll turn out in larger numbers in the fall election, their intent being a statewide Dem sweep from governor on down. Their slogan: "Those evil Republicans (Jeb, legislature) deliberately disenfranchised your vote in the primary so it's time to vote us in so your vote will count."
This is not an arbitrary move on their part. Of course, it's not arbitrary that we Republicans moved up the FL date any more than our ballot initiative in Kali will put a voter referendum on the ballot and make that state far more partisan.
The national parties are both forming and beginning to play strategy in two of the biggest states, both parties intent to focus on driving up partisanship within those states.

I thought the superdelegates in the democRat party
Generally, the superdelegates don't vote or indicate their intention until the convention unless they're visibly supporting a particular candidate. And I think the supers are only about 1/3 of the delegate vote anyway, enough to tip it if they need to (Nader or Kucinich or Dean getting the nomination narrowly) but not enough to overrule the Dim herd in most primaries.

Hillary: "How's Florida?"
Clemenza: "Florida? Oh, you won't see them no more!"

Many democrat presidents, so I’ve heard on FR, had mafia connections; possibly Kennedy AND Clinton for two. Of course they were democrats...need we say more?

Great idea. However, given the incompetence of the national party (RNC), they probably won’t do it.

This will get fixed soon enough.

My DemoPUTZ neighbors tell me that the majority are looking at other than Hillary. They think that the leaders want the New England and other states that vote early to swamp with an early “surge” Hillary, into the lead!!

Who here from Florida wants to bring a civil rights action under the Voting Rights Act against Howard Dean? After all, Florida is disporportionately African-American.
