Here is part of the article.
It has been quite a while since I have written a column, but I have enjoyed the free-for-all that is American politics. You see, the game is never over and the end of one election is the beginning of another. I have noticed the number of candidates that have thrown their hats into the ring to lead this country in 2008. I am still waiting on one to wow me, but that hasn’t happened yet.
For some reason we do not have a clear cut, Ronald Reagan conservative to push to the front. We have allowed ourselves to be put on the defensive by the anti-America crowd and we won’t swing back. We have been labeled as “mean-spirited,” “radicals,” “warmongers,” and the like. We have lost our fight and we need to regain it before it is 2008.

Keyes needs to run somewhere else, preferably outside the U.S.

Hastert’s retiring, and Keyes already has experience carpetbagging in Illinois.

He is quite an orator but he is not a leader!

Wrong headline. We need him to run more than ever now since he’s proven he’s the only one that can stop Obama.

I like Alan Keyes, but it should be obvious by now that he can’t get elected dogcatcher.

While I love Alan Keyes, he is simply not electable.
He should do more work as a a pundit until the election, firing up our base, without firing up theirs (that’s a tall order for Alan).
I could see putting him in the Cabinet, in HHS or Education.

We have several good conservatives running, including Duncan Hunter for starters. In fact, that may be part of the problem. We need to gather behind one good one, to compete with the 3-headed RINO (Rooty, McInsane, and Flip Flopney). Instead you want to split the conservative support even more with Keyes?
Plus, Keyes didn’t do at all well against Obama even in a Senate race. He’s going to do better in a wider field?
Sorry, but I don’t buy your premise.

He has zero chance of winning anything, let alone the Presidency or the Republican nomination.

Obama is a gift to us from Peter Fitzgerald.Fitz was the only honest guy in the IL GOP, so they ran him out. I've never seen a worse group of RINOs anywhere
