LOL!!! Look, you are wrong. You have been shown that you are completely wrong. No where in the Iraqi Constitution is the Republic definied as an Islamic Republic. Perhaps you think the USA is a Democratic Republic, too?!
From the Iraq Constitution as it defines the type of Republic that it is:
"Article (1): The Republic of Iraq is an independent, sovereign nation, and the system of rule in it is a democratic, federal, representative (parliamentary) republic."
Have a nice day.
I have read the Iraq Constitution. And no, it is not an Islamic Republic. It is not defined as an Islamic Republic.
Recognizing a religion does not definie it as an Islamic Republic and there is no such thing as a "secular" Islamic Republic. An Islamic Republic serves out Koranic Justice. Try reading the Iran Constitution before blathering your mouth off.

So tell me when has this ever stopped a Democrat? The twisted logic that has been used to plow the public ground for the Democrat surrender plan to debut in September has not been adequately refuted, that is the real problem. Until the commander in chief himself or his minions, corrects the record with repetitive force, the September report from Petraeus is doomed.
....
Doesn't everybody see what is coming in September, the Petraous report, and how the terrorists in Iraq are aligning themselves with the actions of congressional Democrats and the drive by media in the US to sand bag the any progress the report may contain? -- Let me explain further, the Iraq terrorists through their enablers in the Iraq parliament have shut down the Iraq government for vacation -- At a critical time. Why would they do this? Answer is precludes any real progress on the political front in Iraq, at this critical time when it is needed most. Remember those vaunted benchmarks, half military and half political? Equal weight, stop the political progress, yell failure. This plays directly into the waiting arms of the US Democrats and the drive by media -- See it's never going to work out in Iraq, Iraqis are never going to get their act together, without political progress it's never going to work, we must leave now.
We better start planning a counter to the Democrats now. Progress is being made against al Qaeda in Iraq, that point needs to be hammered home. Remember the fly paper strategy? Well guess what, it worked.
August is a busy month behind the scenes for Democrats and their surrender planning.
Funny, I was thinking the same of most of your responses to many of the folks addressing your questions on this thread.
