It’s the work of a “performance artist and sculptor” by the name of Philip “Duke” Riley. And it is indeed a replica of a Revolutionary War sub, not WW2 (sheesh!).
Alright, well that seals the deal. No self-respecting terrorist would ever call himself a “performance artist”.
