Oh for the good old days.....
Yes.... but look at the talking points we could give fellow Pubs. :)
KFC and any good burger joint. (The old "four food groups" used to be McDonalds, Burger King, Jack in the Box and Carl's Jr...or so I've heard)
Or the firing of the U.S. Attorneys non-scandal.
I was in India last year, during the midterm elections...nothing like getting live election night updates at 9:30am in the morning.
The sight of Upchuck Schumer, Dingy Harry, and Stretch Pelosi joined hand to hand like they had just won the lottery (with stolen money - ours), followed by the "resignation" of Rumsfeld the next day, made me want to stay in that country. Robert Gates? Give me a break.
For all their faults, and every administration has them, I believe that normal Americans will rue the day that President Bush, Vice President Cheney, Dr. Rice, and many others are out of office (especially if they are replaced by the Hildabeast and Barak the Magic Whatever). I know that some can't wait for that day, but I'm not counted as one of them.
"I know nothing..."
And In-N-Out Burger!
Yep.
They WOULD rue the day, but they will be too busy trying to blame Bush, Cheney and Rumsfeld for whatever terrorist action occurs.
I admire Rumsfeld greatly, and I believe history will judge him very favorably, much in the same way Churchill did not recieve the adulation he should have got as a living person until he got.
That's exactly what Alex Jones and the usual cadre of conspiracy nutbars have been saying for the last week, actually: that the gummint had Tillman whacked because he was about to blow the lid off the justification for war in Iraq.
Geez indeed . . .
Rumsfeld = OWN3D
