Liberals are out of their minds.
At least Oberstar isn’t a moonbat. One of the few pro-life Dems left in the House.
Not good. MN is one of those states that teases you with early GOP leads, or numbers that look promising, then collapse.
Not bad considering that MN really jumped the shark the last election. The fact that Coleman is in decent, shape as of now, compared to Sununu perhaps means that MN is a better state to target in the Presidential race than NH or CO.
I think MN is still too rodent to spend too many resources on in the Presidential contest (remember, it hasn’t gone GOP since 1972, although Reagan carried more CDs there than Mondale in ‘84). NH is iffy (but I believe the state is reacting against the solid rodent control), but CO is a must for us. At least one positive, the last Jewish Republican freshman Senator that ran for reelection, even as a rodent carried the state in 1984, he won. I believe Coleman will, too, even if Hillary gets a 53-47% win.
The Sununu vs Shaheen numbers look too good to be true for the Left. Sununu hasn’t done any misstep. In the next few elction cycles, we’ll know for sure if NH will follow the lead of its neighbors.
It’s quite possible she may not want a rematch. Occasionally the ‘Rats have the same problem as we do with the most formidable candidates deciding to take a pass, although it seems less frequent for them. Gordon Smith in OR likely would’ve been toast if Kitzhaber had challenged him.
Nowhere really. In Presidential elections, the last time MN went Rep was 1972. Since 1932, it has gone Rep three times: 1952, 1956, and 1972.
Gov. Jesse Ventura
I could not disagree with you more on Oberstar.
Feel free to set me straight. ;-)
I didn’t say I’d vote for him. Has he jumped the shark on being pro-life when I wasn’t looking ?
I do not about that. It is everything else he does. Like trying to pass a bill on wetlands. Even if you have standing water in your yard after a rain it could be protected.
