If Fred, Hunter, or Romney win the nomination, I will help them as best I can. If Rudy Giuliani wins, I will move to another country, as there’s not a “dimes worth of difference” between Rudy and Hillary.

Sorry you feel that way, but I am not the type that will try and change any minds. In my opinion that is what the primaries are for, each person must choose their favorites, and decide from there if they are willing to "give in" at all.

As I have said many times in the past, FredHeads and his whole grassroot support has awed me. I just wish that he seemed to want it half as much as his supporters want him to have it. His health also gives me much pause, but that discussion will wait for another time.

Good luck to Fred (I really mean that), and kudos to you and his other supporters whom really are great spokesmen for him. Keep at it, I have a feeling our two sides will be fighting it out in the end. May the best man win!!!

I don't know why you would think that, but no, he's not.

BTW, I have not thrown my support behind any particular candidate yet. There’s too much to learn yet for me to make that important decision.

If you don’t think there’s a dime’s worth of difference between Rudy and Hillary, you might want to learn more. Just a suggestion.

Let’s see: Hillary & Rudy—Both gun grabbers, pro-abortion, pro-open borders, pro-welfare, big tax & spenders, pro-NEA, pro-ACLU, pro-homosexual agenda, etc.. See what I mean? I could go on, if you like...

Negative! The WOT doesn’t trump everything else...plus, haven’t you heard what the New York firefighters are saying about Rudy?

Positive, IMO. If we do not remain vigilant and strong in the WOT, Iraq, Afghanistan, etc., none of our social issues will matter. So yes, IMO, the WOT does indeed trump everything. People who believe that the WOT is not the largest issue we face as a nation are either liberal/Democrats, people in denial or uninformed, and/or people who are so blinded by their own social interests that they can’t accept that there is an issue more important than their own.

I also believe that our military and our nation’s defense would be seriously harmed by another Democrat in the Whitehouse.

BTW, I am not, nor have I ever been, a Giuliani supporter. I’m still hoping that our Republican candidate will be someone who will protect and fight for this country in the WOT and also be conservative on the social and fiscal issues. However, unlike some folks, I believe it is still too soon to tell who will be the best candidate.

The only thing I know for sure is that when that day comes, and I head to the voting booth, I WILL vote for the Republican candidate.

There's a circular relationship at work here. On the one hand (according to the pro-Rudy argument), if we're weak on WOT there will be no homeland. On the other, if we're weak on social issues the homeland culture goes down the toilet and is no longer really worth fighting for anyways.

To be sure, the foregoing is hyperbolic for the sake of simplicity, but the gist is valid: we need both.

Now that I have pledge my support, and money to Fred (keep this thread and ping me in March if you wish), will you do the same?

Yes. I pledge my support and money to Fred.

I agree that we do need both. But I also believe that our national security at this point in time does trump all other issues. Fortunately, there appears to be a couple of candidates that are saying they're conservative on social issues that concern us and hawks when it comes to the WOT.
