Well, everything is going their way. Israel under Olmert is a sitting duck and will not do what is necessary to defend itself. Unfortunately, I have pretty much lost all confidence in Bush to get tough with this evil cabal. (What did it for me was Bush’s appalling refusal to do anything to secure our national borders, which indicated to me he is not at all serious about fighting islamofacsism.) Yeah, it’s going to get hot, and no one is going to stop it. And the islamofascists know it.

I don’t think so. The first thing to understand is Israel knows that troops will not be coming in from Jordan or Egypt. It is assumed that there will be a missile barrage from Lebanon, Gaza and the WB and Hamas and Hizbollah will be the troops Israel fights.
Iran has no launch point for its own missiles unless they move them. And these are the missiles Israel will be able to shoot down.
Israels main problem is citizenry in Gaza and the WB who Hamas and Hizzys will hide behind. What they don’t take into consideration is Gaza and WB are not sovereign like Lebanon. Israel will go in and wipe them out, which is probably why they let Hamas have Gaza. They now know the enemy there.
I wouldn’t be suprised if our military and diplomats have spoken to France about being in Lebanon.
In this day and age of technology and intel, Israel can see what is going on. They know who is moving what where. If they can manage the media better, they will destroy Irans proxy army, plant a couple of subs in the gulf and threaten to destroy Irans oil terminals.
Don’t discount Israel.
