"To me they are racially motivated, they are singling out certain nationalities and that's just not appropriate," said Titania Newsom.BULLCRAP! There isn't ANYTHING racial in that sign. It's a perfectly legitimate opinion, too.

We're told people have even tried to steal the sign in the past but have been unsuccessful. I'm surprised to hear this. Vandalism is the standard MO, and I'd expect this thing to be under a few coats of spraypaint by now....

"There's no cursing, there's nothing religious on there. There is nothing racist. All of my statements are general statements, it's meant for everybody."
He lies.

We need more people speaking up on this sort of thing. It’s ridiculous to not talk about something just because it “hurts” someone’s feelings. More power to this guy!

Why do you think “hate crime laws” were created? To arrest and silence people just like this.

Believe it or not, I used to live in Wallis during my first post-college job. It’s about a half-hour south of I-10 south of Sealy. If you take the highway (36 if I recall correctly far enough, you get to Rosenberg. If you take Westheimer Rd from Houston, I believe it finally ends in Wallis.
It was back in my songwriting days when I lived there and my homage to it basically described a one-stoplight town with one store, one gas station, one garage and about two places to eat. The local movie theatre was boarded up. The train didn’t stop there and few cars did either.
There’s simply nothing in Wallis to get worked up about and any liberals that do are driving far out of their way just to get offended.
