Re the Leftist hypocrisy of attacking "western" religious fundamentalism as "irrational" while defending the irrationality of non-western religions in the name of "cultural relativism," the author hits it right on the head. After all, it was the "age of reason" that gave us the "noble savage." How many times do you hear Darwinists attacking "indigenous pipples" for holding onto their creation myths?

Good analysis. As a matter of emphasis, you might have added that for many Jews, liberalism is their religion, even when they are sitting in Temple.

That's because the Soviets pretty much kept their antisemitism (as well as just about all their other internal repressive policies) secret from the rest of the world until after WWII, when the ugly truth began to leak out slowly.
This Romanian Jew's feelings were, regrettably, fairly common among Jews, largely because the majority of the world's Jews lived in eastern Europe and most of those were czarist subjects in the late 19th and very early twentieth centuries. The majority of today's world Jewish population is descended from czarist subjects, and so leftism (originally a response to czarist persecution) has been handed down to many through several generations. Of course, many myths and historical lies arose as time passed, which facilitated the familial transmission of a dysfunctional leftist ideology from one generation to the next.
I agree with Mr. Mojo that the process will gradual, but eventually Jews will be voting pretty much like other white ethnic groups, and perhaps mostly Republican as long as the Islamofascist threat against America, Israel and Jewish interests continues.
Why does the left hate Israel ?

Horowitz got it right. And the alliance between ANSWER and Islamofascists and - get this - North Korea - is truly frightening. I guess Leslie Kagan doesnt’ care that the Little guy in North Korea starves his own people. Don’t confuse these bozos with the facts - their minds are already made up.
American Jews are different from other Jews in that many were not directly affected by the Holocaust or virulent anti-Semitism. Hence, it was easier for them to back leftist groups. Also, when many assimilated, they totally abandoned adherence to Jewish Law. They substituted the platform of the DNC for Judaism. They feel that they are “culturally Jewish” and will not be affected by the jihadists. They are wrong. And there is self-hatred involved because nobody likes a turncoat, particularly the turncoat himself. It is psychologically, a very complicated issue. What is “Jewish” about a radical lefty magazine called “Lilith”?
