The gentleman’s club will come to a screeching halt when the dems feel the need to end it. Unlike the wimps leading the republicans dems have no problem wielding power.

Someone said it here on FR several weeks ago, I don't remember who .. that: "Republicans are at their best and most effective when in the minority"

In the Senate. But the House GOP does better unless they smell a porkfest.

"Everyone is frustrated with the situation, particularly Senator Reid, who is frustrated with Republicans who continue to block votes on changing course in Iraq and bringing a responsible end to the war," Summers said.

The Democrats are frustrated because war should not be a partisan issue but the they are spitefully attempting to micromanage a war that properly belongs to the Executive Branch. The Republicans are frustrated because they are as spineless as they are clueless.

Morons.

Those are some of the nicest things one can say about Dirty Harry.
He is my senator, and I don’t have a single positive thing to say about him.

The folks who work and play at the various military complexes in Nevada must be beaming with pride over their great senator from Searchlight! /S

Specter cares more about “indignity to senators” than about the fate of the Middle East or, probably, the U.S.

But it’s a start.
