What a horrible thing to happen to anyone. My prayers for him and the whole family.
At work, we have a back only when necessary policy and always before we stop the truck. Even at that, whenever kids are around, I circle the truck and make sure they all move over to where I can keep an eye on them. Little kids love to hang around the truck and some bigger ones have tried to jump on the rear bumper and ride. If anything ever happened to one of them, I don’t know how I could live with myself. What a sickening feeling that would be.

What a beautiful poem about a beautiful flower and this beautiful, loving little girl.

This is horribly tragic. My prayers go out to this family. Brings to mind a story about a man coming home from work in a town in Minnesota during the fall season. His daughter and a friend saw the man’s truck turn down the street and hid in a pile of leaves next to the curb in order to surprise the girls father. He didn’t see them as he ran over and killed both girls. These types of tragedies shouldn’t happen, but unfortunately they do.

How awful. Stories like this are so heartbreaking. Life isn’t fair but it never claimed to be, I guess. I’m sure he still deals with this. Prayers for all.
