Screw censuring Murtha... have him prosecuted for treason. If seeking to withdraw our troops from combat before we’ve won the war and referring to them as war criminals isn’t providing aid and comfort to the enemy, I don’t know what is.

Murtha’s constituents are plumb crazy to keep to keep him in office. He should have been out after his involvement in Abscam became public. Sure, censure him, run challengers every election, anything, he’s a corrupt and unpatriotic man.

Thank you for your service, and for your comments, which are humbling.

I have a friend who is a combat veteran of the Vietnam war, and he's not particularly conservative, but he calls 'em like he sees 'em. He's very pro-Iraq War, hated Kerry, and he seethes hatred about Murtha. He simply can't grasp why a veteran says the things he says about fighting men who are CURRENTLY in the field.

I can't explain it to him, either. Murtha just seems like a hate-filled old bastid. I just can't figure out the source of this incredible hatred he seems to have.

These parents need to go to TRAITOR Murtha’s home district and demand an apology from the peole who elected him!

Censor is only one action. If this was my child that this happened to, I’d have him in court on defamation charges. What a lousy example of leadership Murtha is. Personally, I think he went around the bend some time ago but censoring alone is letting him off to easily. He deserves to be hit in the pocketbook big time.

I just can't figure out the source of this incredible hatred he seems to have.

That part is easy. Murtha is owned. Lock, stock, and barrel. It's because he's weak, an easy mark. The Murtha you see, read about, or hear about, is just a facade.

The real Murtha is a sniveling coward, a front man for others who use him.

But don't pity him, he chose his path.

His disgrace is of his own making.
