Apparently, the “liberal” New York Times buys the stereotype that for a woman to be accomplished in her own right she has to be ugly.
Hillary is the one who really does have a trophy spouse. After all of Bill’s philandering, the only thing he is good for in their marriage is playing the role of liberal-crowd-pleaser, so he is pretty much Hillary’s trophy.

I’m being chastised by someone whose tagline is NO RAPIST ENABLER FOR PRESIDENT!!! That’s rich. Like that’s not giving FR a bad name. You need to wise up. Any forum - not just FR - that publishes or stats facts or opinions that differs from the Stalinistic stooges and their ilk, is already thought of in a negative light.
HUH?...it’s a known fact - at least after the Juanita Broderick interview - that Hillary enabled Bill to continue his abuse of women. What that has to do with calling Jackie ugly names I don’t know....or care.
However, I’d hope we would stay at least a level or two at above DU.
I’ve read quite a bit about Jackie, and for those who want to criticize her she was human, but IMO she also did a great job with her kids and considered them her first responsibility. She also was extraordinarly intelligent and talented. To a large extent she was a product of her class, who wouldn’t be, but she also went way beyond that.
Her behavior when JFK was shot was beyond reproach and in a way she helped hold the nation together in that terrible time.

That’s a good one, we don’t need a bleached blond for president. Hillary’s natural color is real dark brown, almost black, but was dull when it was clean, most of the the time was greasy looking because it was dirty. One of the remarks Bill’s mother made about her that she did not bathe often enough, she let Bill know in no uncertain terms she did not want Hillery to be her daughter-in-law.
Except that he has no assets. I think his net worth including absolutely everything is 100K.

I find it interesting that Montopololdsmokey refers to Thompson’s wife by her maiden name, Kehn. Is that the way she prefers it, or is he just being an ass?
