Excellent article.
The point about uniting the Republican Party is important. Candidates such as Guiliani and McCain will just divide the party. We need a candidate with unwavering commitment to conservative principles.

Maybe I am idealist, but I think a Fred Thompson presidency will unite the entire country.

I signed up for $50 bucks a month on Fred’s web site. It will be good till the elections. If 100,000 conservatives give $50 a month. There is no way Fred won’t win. He will have enough money to bury the Clinton machine. I feel at this time I will for go a dinner and a movie per month to assure that my children will be able to be free and live a better life without having to give most of their hard earned money to shit heads that won’t work and suck the welfare teat.

Formula for unity: 1980. Reagan vs Democrats of the 70s. Landslide. White House. Senate.
2008. Thompson vs Democrats of the 70s. Landslide. White House. Senate. House.
And more importantly, a couple appointments to the Supreme Court.
Check out the 10-minute talk-on-video of Thompson addressing the Young Republicans, Saturday. Let Thompson be Thompson. He's great!
