Remember when Clinton was elected the first time, when Perot was saying NAFTA would create the giant sucking sound of American jobs leaving the country? Clinton was labor’s friend, I remember thinking well at least one good thing will come out of Clinton getting elected - NAFTA will never get passed. But it flew through as if Bush 1 was still in office!! From that monent on I’ve realized both parties march to the beat of the same drummer. Oh they stand opposite on some issues when it’s “safe” to do so but mainly they do what they do as a diversionary show (much ike the games in Rome) while doing exactly what they want behind the pile of bones of appeasment thrown to us peons.
I don’t think Ron Paul is an insider thus he doesn’t have a ghost of a chance at actually becoming president.
Ron Paul has an excellent chance of becoming president. You will need to support him, however. I will.
He is the best candidate in the race (or about to be in the race).
How old are you?
You *can’t* be series.....
53, and yes, I am serious.
What books have you read about the Council on Foreign Relations?
Carroll, not Carrol.
“I guess you don’t have a problem with the CFR.”
I don’t believe I have ever had a conversation with you before so I ask - how do you know that?
I don’t know it.
If the CFR is as powerful as some think Ron Paul has even less of a chance of becoming president.
Can’t buck the beast.
The first books I read on the CFR were ones by Gary Allen, that was over thirty years ago. My uncle was a John Bircher, I grew up with American Opinion laying around the house. A book like None Dare Call it Conspiracy would have had you believe the world was going to be ruled with a one world communist government but instead the wall fell down and wacko Islamoblowbots are the current threat, a threat those weaving the conspiracy theories back then didn’t forsee at all.
Man will have his day in the sun trying to govern himself but there is only one one world government that will actually work, and until it is here I won’t sweat the CFR too much. I’ve learned that much watching things unfold over the last thirty years.
You are probably correct, but I’m still gonna vote for Ron Paul and support him on this forum.
Being a congressman kind screws the chances of becoming president, looking at congress’s approval rating gives a clue why.
If Ron Paul makes it to the primaries I’ll be impressed.
How in the world will Ron sell himself to a Rudy supporter let alone one of the 4X% that voted for French Poodle?
Reality bites.
Why are you bringing up Earmarks out of the blue on a thread dealing with abortion?
Bull. If a baby has a right to life in Georgia, it should have the right to life in New York.
Among pro choice libertarians the guiding principle of non aggression doesn’t count when it comes to the weakest among us. An interesting if totally invalidating concept one would think.
Amen to that.
Rudy has no supporters. This will become clear very soon.
