Our "leaders" ,politicians, can deny that, all that they want, even to our suicide, our national destruction, but that is the way it is going to be, if we civilized people are going to survive. Power is the only thing the Islamists understand. Power is the only thing that will put them back in their third world box. Utter Destruction.

Al Queda is an organization set up in cells. That is very difficult to wipe out. However, Al Queda requires the assistance of nation states. Without this assistance they will fail. Our policy of just fighting Al Queda and not the source of funding and supplies is insane and a recipe for failure. Without the Nation States of Syria, and Iran Al Queda would fail.

However, as in Vietnam we have allowed the enemy off limit sanctuary in neighboring countries and have allowed our enemy to define the rules of engagement. If you cut off the head of the snake it will die. Sadly I am in agreement with you. To stop this terror will require a massive loss of life on the other side. Mostly innocent civilians.
