Great News AND IN OTHER GREAT NEWS...DUNCAN HUNTER WILL BE AT THE FREEDOM CONCERT IN SAN DIEGO!!!!

I can't wait to thank him in person. I'm a couple of districts away, but LOVE Duncan!

I must confess, I think the Republican Party has many good people running.

The CONSERVATIVE PARTY; however, has the best.

See you at the Freedom Concert!!!

God Bless America!!!!!

Where do you stand on continuing foreign welfare? Also described as “foreign aid” or “emergency war appropriations”?

Have you voted to continue it?

I think we should all follow Tancredo's lead and mail a head to Chertoff weekly until the fence is up :))

That idea is ! Let's do it!!!

This is great! Way to go guys!

I have no questions for Hunter because, as I was telling SoCal today, he is the only candidate that I really trust with regard to illegal immigration and our borders and the WOT! I think he has the (lookout, here comes a favored dimmocRAT phrase)...gravitas... that any President of the United States needs to have!

Go Hunter!!

Not all Governors were good Presidents. (Carter, Clinton)

I have no problem whatsoever with a Senator or Representative as President.

I’ll make my choice on policies and principles.

Awwwwww . . . Tommy Thompson had the intestinal fortitude to take on welfare when no one else was. Wisconsin’s welfare rolls have been cut 92% since I read somewhere. He shouldn’t be slammed at all. He’s a good man. I like Hunter, I like both Thompsons . . .

Noted. I should confine my wisecracks to dems and Brownback. Realized I left out open borders Huckabee and who knows what he stands for Gilmore, two former governors, but then so what? They're probably good men too but that's not quite the point.

My question to Mr. Hunter.

Regarding California Proposition 187

As you are aware, Californians voted for and overwhelmingly passed this proposition in November of 1994. California voters decided to deny welfare, health care (except in life or death cases), and public education to undocumented immigrants.

What is your opinion of this proposition, and your opinion of it being blocked by a Federal judge?

In addition, what do you think of other state measures that have been crafted, and are being created by other states in an effort to obtain relief from this lawless invasion of our land?

Yuppers. I remember when Tommy Thompson started the welfare changes in Wisconsin there was show after show on the evening news, CBS, NBC, ABC, predicting disaster, with five and seven minute interviews with welfare mothers that were scared. Then it worked . . . and the stories completely stopped. Dead silence.

Yep. Wouldn't want to ruin a story with good news!

Here is my question for Representative Hunter.

“Representative Hunter, you have extremely good conservative positions on social policies, defense, and immigration. However, some fiscal conservatives on Free Republic are worried that you won’t do enough to cut the size of government. Could you please list some government programs and/or agencies that you consider wastfull and would cut? Or, in the alternative, could you please explain what policies you would support to cut the size of government. Thanks very much - Sincerely, Daniel.”

>A Representative hasn’t been President ever.<

LOL! I don’t know where you went to school, jude, but FYI a man by the name of Abraham Lincoln was a Representative before he was President of the U.S.A. Also another Representative was President, but I can’t remember his name just now. It might be a good idea to check out the validity of your statements before you post.

This is tremendously good news. will there be a list of possible questions for Freepers to vote on? Will someone be editing or melding questions into something pertinent? I have a few questions of mine (of course).

Thank you for all you are doing. You and US007 are doing a great job.

The State Department is in serious need of an enema. What, as President would you do to bring that department back into line with way most Americans think?

What role, if any, do you think the federal government has in public education?

As President, would you try to ensure that our intelligence services were both, intelligent and a service?

Do you believe that it is possible to rebuild our military into a force that is able to deal with “long-haul” operations, such as Iraqi Freedom?

a man by the name of Abraham Lincoln was a Representative before he was President of the U.S.A.

He was better known for his failed Senate run, which garnered a lot of publicity.

Reagan didn’t make it first try either, but he did make it, and is one of the best if not THE greatest president of the 20th Century. So what are you trying to prove, jude?
