“Something is wrong here, I can’t quite put it into words ...”

Ditto that!

Is it a liberal school?

When my daughter started it was affiliated with the Southern Baptist Convention, but has broken those ties.

It seems odd doesn’t it, that he actually lives in a palatial house that he owns, in Georgetown DC... away from us, the unwashed rabble of Kentucky.

You can get a good college education, despite the faculties (no pun intended). Leftist professors didn’t do anything to hurt me. They made me think. ‘Course, reading Wm. F. Buckley, Jr’s God and Man at Yale, along with a healthy dose of Goldwater Conservatism, helped prepare me.

This question came from an upper level US history course, on a final, no less:

“From Barry Goldwater’s run for the presidency we know that he was A. A fascist B. a Nazi C. A dangerous right-wing fanatic.”

I had been sitting quietly (for me) in the class all quarter, but this one tore it and I lost it. I stood and hollered “What the hell kind of f’in question is this...this is complete bulls—t!” I took a “B” for the class and was damned glad to get it.

I don’t care if he lives in a tent or a palace, I just want him to vote in accordance with the US Constitution, whether it is in our best private interests or not. Of course, if he did spend more time in Kentucky he’d be away from POTUS, Ted, Dirty Harry, ineffectual Nancy, and other harmful influences. Then he could spend more time with local business interests that “require” illegal laborers.
