Really tall palms
where I grew up hurricanes would lie some palms down and they would then grow up again at a sharp angle
Great natural benches -
The pier looks kinda like Anglin’s Pier (see “Alcatraz” on Google - I had a HS classmate with 2 wayward footloose uncles - I also knew “Murph The Surf” - {Allen Kuhn played by Robert Conrad & his buddy Jack Murphy played by Don Stroud] a diamond fancier in South Florida) in Lauderdale-By-The-Sea but we did not have palms that close to the water - Mostly Seagrape (Wonderful jelly like Guava & Mango!) and salt grass and a much larger (sand area) to the surf
No buildings near the beach
And I wonder why these movies were made....
- “Escape From Alcatraz” - Clint Eastwood
- “Porky’s” (Baines was no clown)
- “Where The Boys Are” (My gold TR3B was in one scene)
- “Murph The Surf” - Robert Conrad
