Well, GOD is pleased even if FReepers aren’t, and HE is the only one Christians have to please, not mankind but GOD Himself.

My point is that hating the Clintons doesn’t necessarily make you bad, not that Brownback should hate them. He talks as if it makes you bad.

How does it “make us any better than the DUers?” Give me a break. Some people deserve to be hated. That doesn’t mean you should say absolutely anything and everything even about those people. Many DUers go too far ... and the people they hate rarely, if ever, deserve it even so.

I’m going to agree with you that the people DUers hate rarely if ever deserve it. That’s rather obvious.

I disagree that hating the Clintons accomplishes anything productive. I hate what they did to the country and how they got away with it. As for them as people, life’s too short and they’re just not important enough to invest that much emotion in.

It’s a point that reasonable people can disagree about.
But Brownback made a public moral posture of his (and your) view — actually he went beyond your view, saying it’s not only unproductive, but wrong. Given the way the Rats tend to talk about us, I just think Brownback, given that he’s one of our “leaders” (to some people), sends the wrong signal with what he’s saying. I have several other reasons for thinking Brownback’s a lousy leader. This would be one of the lesser ones.

God would not want us to turn our backs to the wolves. Brownback appears to be softening to the Clintons and has become generous with his criticisms of them. Hating and being honest about what they are happen to be different things.

Well, I don’t see it that way at all. I see it as being obedient to the voice of God.

I have yet to experience a religious awakening. I still hate the “F’s”.

The media and the elites always talk about this hate on the right for the Clintons as if it were something irrational, or based entirely on personal feelings. It never seems to occur to them that our hatred was for their ideology and what they have done to weaken and divide America.

He is bucking to be the successor to McCain's "Maverick" mantle.

Senator Switchback has even caught melanoma from McStain.

I would not vote for the person that left this comment because this person is not being as mature as a president should be. Take Brown Back. He is more mature than this commenter.

Fortunately I’m not a candidate, and it is also fortunate that YOU are not a candidate. You don’t have to vote for me and I don’t have to vote for you.... and I DEFINITELY won’t be voting for a weak reed like Brownback.
