Someone had better tell the high and mighty at the RNC that they don’t own us, and it’s not like they and they and the democrats are the only game in town. Seems to me they lost their asses in the last election and are working hard to make it two in a row.

Ricky Santorum got buried in PA because he was a liberal stooge posing as a republican and he thought he owned us. These jerks better wake up and smell the coffee before the nitwits in the RNC make it a third party.

Dirtbag Mel is one of my senators.
I sent him e-mails protesting his stance on the amnesty bill and the turd sent me a request for a donation to the g.o.p.
I wrote back telling him he is a p.o.s. and i will work against any future office he runs for.
Mel Martinez is worse then dirt.

Dear Mr. Martinez, My plan is very simple. As a resident of Florida, during your re-election campaign, I will work diligently for your opponent in the primary. If by some quirk of fate, you do get the nomination, I most certainly will not vote for you!

Mel, I like my plan better than your shamnesty plan!!!

Sorry. Santorum was the ONLY conservative running. He got buried because Bush wanted him out for the shamnesty bill. Santorum was THE biggest proponent of right to life in the Senate. He was against open borders also. He was FOR a real guest worker program, however.

How many damned times/ways do we have to tell them? Enforce the laws on the books and secure the border. Do they need a map? We've used every legal way. Do they want violence?

"We're going to have a hodgepodge of local laws. We will have cities that will declare themselves sanctuary cities. And then we will have others that will make it a felony simply to rent to illegal immigrants," he said.

Going to have? Where has he been? He shouldn't worry. The ACLU will carry his water for the illegals. They'll make sure cities are sued into submission. Looks as though the ACLU, Latino rights groups and our own government have joined together to force us to become a Latin American cesspool.

Rather than a give a path to citizenship, Senator Mel should aim for

a) Establish a employment verification system and with fines for employers who dont do the basic chec.

b) Grant all the illegals(with the exception of those with criminal records) a non-immigrant working visa which can be extended every 3 years.

c) Seal the border and establish a guest worker non-immigrant program for those agricultural employers requiring low skilled farm labour.

"How will we bring people out of the shadows for our national security and for the sake of being a country that is just?" he demanded.

I believe I heard a caller on Rush on Wednesday make the point that if 12 t0 20 million (real) Americans decided to quit paying taxes, the government would find them. I suggest that Martinez and the rest of the illegal alien panderers pretend these gate crashing trash are people refusing to pay their taxes. Then deport them.

"Enforce the laws on the books. Get serious about removing illegals from the country and begin eliminating economic incentives for continued illegal immigration. Clear the damn DHS backlogs. Build that border fence! The American people want secure borders - but Mel... you and your boss in the White House STILL DON'T GET IT!!!"

Couldn't have put it better!

“Martinez came to Florida from Cuba at 15 and spent four years separated from his parents until they were able to flee the communist island. He said he feared more families would be torn apart if the status quo remains.”

The fear of families being torn apart. I have heard that statement so many times during the debates about this bill that I am sick of it. Why are they more concerned about the families of illegals being torn about than the families of our citizens. Oh, but then I forgot, we now define familes as mother and child and anyone else she choosed to live with.

OH, THAT TAKES GUTS. AND THESE PEOPLE DON’T HAVE IT.

Martinez was hand picked from W to be Florida’s Senator. The reason was simple, W needed a go to boy for his promotion of unpopular bills such as this vote. W pushed the RNC to fund him heavily and then he placed him up the food chain.
Martinez doesn’t represent the voters of Florida nor the GOP.
I sometimes wonder if W does.

>>But U.S. Rep. Duncan Hunter, R-Calif., the lone Republican presidential candidate to attend the three-day conference, said such a revival was unlikely.

Hunter stood by his focus on legislation to extend a fence along the U.S.-Mexican border and said the government needs to do a better job of asking those here illegally to go home. He did not say how he would convince the nation’s 12 million illegal immigrants to leave.<<
