Obama: Fading to black?

Yeah, there is the feel-good factor. I guess that will buy them a lot more good will with the media, but Hillary! is going to have that anyway. I will be a total love-fest between the media and Hillary! when she gets in, just like it was in NY with the supposedly "tough" NY media. They slobbered all over her.

The "traditional" reasons for choosing a VP candidate, regional or key state strength, or currying favor with a demographic group (e.g., Mondale picking Ferraro) really aren't operable with Hillary-Obama. She is in no danger of losing IL. She is in no danger of losing the black vote. In short, she doesn't need Obama to gain any support she currently lacks. Hillary will look at the electoral map and she where she needs to win a state or two that the 'Rats didn't win the last couple of times. That means places like FL, OH, and maybe VA. A flip on any of those puts Hillary! back at 1600. Right now both VA and OH have 'Rat governors. My guess is she taps one of them to grab the one key state the 'Rats need to go over the top on the electoral count.
