REID: Talk radio has had a field day. These generators of simplicity -- now, Mr. President, I want everyone to know --
Dingy Harry meant it as an insult. But its actually a back-handed compliment to talk radio. To its educative and mobilizing power. It has cut through the political jargon and let ordinary people understand what's going in Washington. I love that phrase, "generator of simplicity." Yes! We need everything pared down to its essentials so people can make informed decisions. The Washington elite and the Drive By Media/MSM no longer control the debate. The American people do!

Yup, but I believe the libs don’t care about the Constitution.
I actually would like to see the Fairness Doctrine adopted by the Congress and then slapped down by the Supreme Court. We have some recent cases from that esteemed institution which are grounded in the Constitution more so than previous courts.
And when sitcoms, movies, and television “news” take their biased swipes at conservatives I want to know if the Fairness Doctrine will get me a part on TV too.
First, the Supreme Court WRTL decision chips away at that McCain-Feingold abomination, and now this utterly unconstitutional "Fairness Doctrine" crashes and burns overwhelmingly in Congress ......
A good week :)

harry Reid is simply a moron. Oh, and a crook.
How do you figure that ? They haven't even started a bill or debate on it yet.
Today’s vote (309-115)prohibits the FCC from using taxpayer dollars to impose any form of the Fairness Doctrine on broadcasters. That effectively kills it.
For the moment, but just like "shamnesty", it *will* be back...

Well Dingy, simplicity is 98% of life. Simplicity can solve this immigration mess, it’s not like solving the space-time continuum dilemma.
What’s the opposite of Simple?
Harry would like to keep things cluster - f***ed.
He wants things “complicated”.
He’d rather not have us strip his “contorted constructs.”
He’d rather we not lay bare his unwieldy designs.
Harry doesn’t deal in nuts and bolts.
He stokes the beast of governmental excesses.
Of course it *will* be back in one form or another .... RATS are difficult to eradicate. /chuckle
However, in its current 'form', reviving the 'Fairness Doctrine' was dealt a fatal blow today by an overwhelming House vote of 309-115 which effectively defunds the FCC as a regulating agency for enforcement. Without government funding, where is the FCC going to get any monies for enforcement of any 'future' doctrine? As a government regulatory agency, they can't go to George Soros or any other private 'donor'. And the fact that so many Rats voted to disallow funding for FCC enforcement effectively makes it dead, dead, DEAD .... its dead, Jim :)
And what's wrong with that, Teddy?
Don’t complicate the simple
