It always seemed that Rush was reading the tea leaves on the subject.

I bent over backward to give him some due, some attribute, some kind of allowance to his personal preference of presentation style, but rest assured, I didn’t take much stock in the possibility of his holding back content as some sort of “listener tease.”

Like you, I fault him for being out to lunch tepid on the subject.

Better late than never, I guess. The biggest political explosion in years and you weren’t there for the heavy lifting. But there is still time to climb on the bandwagon to pretend you’re the leader.

This is the key element of why this abortion of a bill was so wrong. It sets in place a second class citizery; that is a group of people that are here but not citizens. A group that is wide open to exploitation by the moneyed interests.

This is exactly the conundrum that the Euros find themselves in and there's no way out except mass naturalization. And that is cultural suicide.
