I sincerely hope you’re right!
I suggest “Switchback” (hat-tip Michelle Malkin) and “Brown Back, Yellow Belly” (hat-tip Ace of Spades) for the primary campaign.
I know. Hunter, IMHO, is the best on immigration (by a long shot) of all the candidates. But of all the "top-tier" candidates, Romney has been the biggest vocal opponent of the Bill, at least from what I've seen.
Don't worry, I'm not stepping on Hunter's toes here!

Tom Tancredo won’t gain anything from this. The long-term effect of the shamnesty bill’s failure will be a strong surge of support for controlling our borders. But Tom will still be seen as a single-issue candidate, I’m afraid.
I know that’s not fair, but when were politics or life fair? I hope he will stay where he is, where he can finally hope to work with a president that values his ideas and his cooperation in congress, if things go well in the next election.
>Now is not the the time to gloat. Now is the time to push forward with our efforts to rouse the American people to defend their heritage from those in whom they have, for far too long, put too much mistaken trust.<
Beautifully said! Now is the time to gird for the next war on Washington, The ‘Fairness” Doctrine. That is going to be a biggie, and we’d better be ready.
Yep, but just shows tagoya, Duncan Hunter doesn’t back down, and he speaks his mind very clearly. No flip-flopper he!
