Nope...the antenna and others are all retracted inside that very strong sail when breaking through. This pic is at the North Pole and it was, as I understand, 4 ft of ice the sub broke through.
That is one awesome pic.
Ad it should have been bleedin’ obvious to me with a moment’s thought to realize that all the prickly bits would be retractable to provide efficient, quiet running.
