FWIW, in 1997 Fabrizio, McLaughlin and Associates did a poll showing Colin Powell as the Republican early favorite for president in 2000, followed by Jack Kemp and Elizabeth Dole.

I like Tony, but his polls can sometimes generate some very unusual results.
I’d like to see who and where he polled.

If we had universal health care at the time of his injury, my baby brother would be dead.

Here we go again. Another well-designed poll. Poll results for sale — just tell us what you want the poll to say. We will take care of the rest.....

Ed Gillespie is passionately lobbying for government mandated healthcare. Now that he is a “counselor” for President Bush this poll does not surprise me in the least. It is basically one of many “feelers” we will be probed with in the next few months.

I could be a flaming Communist but tell a pollster I am either Repub or Demo just to screw their poll up. I don’t believe polls from anyone.

Fifty-one percent of the GOPers said universal healthcare coverage should be a right of every American Yeah, right.

It is also true another poll could say “Many Democrats don’t favor universal healthcare nor gays in military”

This by polling only those people who actually answer their landlines. Don’t know if polling actually works anymore.
