The old Soviet Politburo had a higher turnover rate than our Congress today. They have the game so well rigged, that they consider themselves the permanent ruling class. This is where statements like Arlen Specter’s come from.

And to add insult to injury the low life POSs in the House are giving themselves a payraise?

And what really sucks is all the brave men and women and their families, who have given their all to protect this country, our democracy, our citizens, etc., and now they are suffering while W tries to establish another socialist democracy? If I didn't know any better, I'd think it is all a dream.
BTW....Great Pics LOL!! It's just another episode of Animal Farm apparently.

Voinivich said as much to Hannity, and that he will not be intimidated into changing his vote.

I’m surprised a press conference hasn’t been held while these traitors stand on the Capital grounds or the White House grounds and announce to we (citizens) and the world, Amnesty is now the law of the land by presidential executive order while all these traitors give all American citizens the one finger salute. I wouldn't put anything past these people in DC at this point.

We have de facto taxation without representation in this country.
ABSOLUTELY!”
This is a great example for how things hav been going in MA. People should look long and hard at MA, and stop this tyranny now, or the nation will look like MA.
It will spread........like a cancer!

“And you though they really cared when you call to express your opinion.”
They are so far out of touch with reality its sick.
To: driftdiver
I refuse to believe anyone could be that far out of touch. I have to believe there are other reasons....perhaps money, power, hate of the citizens, and the nation, to name a few.

What would be wrong, if at the next big Florida GOP fund raiser, I plopped down a thousand dollar check for the rubber chicken glad handing. During the event, I would confront Mr. Martinez with his campaign literature which specifically states that he does not support a path to citizenship for those who have broken our laws. Of course, I would be soft pedaled and ignored. If the answer is insufficient, I would place a stop payment on the fund raiser check. If they sue me in court for the funds, I would counter sue for civil fraud based upon Mr. Mels documented falsehoods. And add say, one million dollars for the diminution of the value of my American Citizenship as an additional punitive amount. I would love to have that on the Today Show.

Senator Lindsey Graham, a South Carolina Republican who is one of the architects of the immigration overhaul, said he also had received threats in telephone calls and letters to his office. Mr. Graham said several other senators had told him privately that they also received similar messages. Theres racism in this debate, Mr. Graham said. Nobody likes to talk about it, but a very small percentage of people involved in this debate really have racial and bigoted remarks. Lindsey is, by extension, trying to frame this such that mean, racist conservatives want to kill mexicans. Shameful Lindsey. You're out on your ass next election!
