Am I to assume you give a crap about what I think or what I do or are you just assuming a morally superior stance to keep in practice?
I don’t think all of America is decadent, but some parts of it certainly are.
When you post an opinion do you assume that everyone agrees with you and expect to avoid a critique? But I guess my comment was somewhat gratuitous. My apologies.

I just found the article overly generalistic and ready to extrapolate from examples-of-one to sweeping generalities. But then, I am by nature more on the technical side and prefer the concrete and tangible to the amorphous. I think it’s equally delusional to compare overcovered and in-your-face events of today to some idealized “Leave it to Beaver” vision of reality as it is to take the most horrible example of depraved behavior one can find and bemoan the death of civilization therefrom. People have been doing horrible, rotten things to other people since time immemorial.
