How many feet above sea level is it? I just see catastrophe waiting to happen. I cant imagine what the insurance would cost to insure a house there.

Situated on the northern coast of Dubai I suspect it's sheltered from the brunt of hurricanes. I would be more concerned with neighbors to the north.

Hong Kong recently built a massive world-class airport on an artificial island. I think they know what they're doing.
